The programme, known as Notebook Ownership Programme, is solely organized and managed by Agri Bima Systems Sdn Bhd (ABS). ABS is a company registered with the Ministry of Finance for supplies to government agencies and departments and is awarded the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) Status Company which recognises the company's research, development and successful commercialization in the field of Information Technology. It is currently implementing the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System to ensure that all its processes are in accordance with international best practices.

The company first introduced the Notebook Ownership Programme in July 2006. The programme basically entails the availability of an option for students with Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) and Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) loans to purchase genuine notebooks, desktops, printers, IT peripherals (the items) on an instalment plan which they otherwise would not be able to afford.

There are various plans to suit each and every student's needs. Installments can be as low as RM38 per semester (which is less than RM7 a month!) and repayment can be stretch up to 3 years. All products are priced at market retail price and in some instances they are below the market retail price. All the products come with the manufacturers' warranty, both locally and internationally. Therefore, the servicing or repair during the warranty period is only a phone call away directly to the manufacturers concern.

In order to genuinely help the students, there is no guarantors required and absolutely no interests charged on the installment purchase plan, unlike other companies that imposes processing fees or selling the items at higher than the market retail price.

To add more flexibility to the programme, students can purchase these items from any anywhere as they like, be it the computer shop in their campus or from their friend or from the popular Low Yat Plaza or Imbi Plaza in Kuala Lumpur. The student's only need to inform ABS and we will pay for the student's purchase so that the student can enjoy ABS' installment plan. Even if the students have already made the purchased of the items, ABS will make payment to the student.
